Symbol of “the dark side” of human nature; all that is unknown, mysterious and hidden from the conscious mind. Historically, black has been associated with menace, evil and negativity. Black is none of these; it has simply become an external projection, a ”scapegoat” for our fear of our own “dark side”, our fear of the unknown. Represents the introspective personal journey into the depths of being; it is not a journey to fear. Black is considered formal, an image of dignity and power. Stabilizing and grounding. Historically associated with purity, chastity, holiness, the all-embracing radiance of God, the Logos, Source of all life. (White is not more “holy” or “God-like” than black. Black and white are equal and complementary polarities creating the unity and wholeness existing within us all; exemplified through female/ male, yin/yang, night/ day, Goddess/God). White helps dissolve limitations and barriers, initiating new heights of awareness. Conveys the message of acceleration, expansion and transformation of consciousness. Can represent: being overly optimistic or idealistic, denial of one’s dark side, lack of balance and stability.

The benefits of color are best obtained from the clothes, foods, gems and minerals which are the specific color(s) you desire. The finest source of color are sunlight, organic fruits and vegetables and nature. Love is the source of all healing.. Love one another!
